About Us

Flying Fur Animal Rescue was founded by a US Army Veteran in 2015.

We are dedicated to saving at-risk animals from overcrowded shelters and euthanasia by providing safe, compassionate air and ground transport to no-kill rescues and adoption partners.

Our Mission

Flying Fur Animal Rescue was officially incorporated on May 14th, 2015. It started with one man, a rescued dog, and a dream to help save more animals in a unique fashion.

Since our initial rescue flight, we’ve helped save over 4,300 animals; one man, spending over $120,000 out of his pocket to do it.

Documentary

In the summer of 2018, film makers Alicia Wszelaki and Matthew Nothelfer of Path 88 Productions, stumbled upon an article in People Magazine, where Flying Fur had just been featured.

Saving animals, one rescue at a time.

As of this writing, we have helped save over 4,300 animals. I have enormous vision for our rescue, however I need your help to get there.

Get In touch

Every day, healthy, loving animals throughout this country are condemned to euthanization, simply because they cannot get to other areas where they would otherwise be adopted…we help to change those odds.

Volunteer

I've been told that I am famous for not asking you for money, and I think that is one of the nicest compliments I've ever received. I prefer the approach that if people like and believe in what I do, they will donate and help; so far with your support that has carried us through.
